Hopefully our 2017 – 2018 season will be less exciting than last season!

But that was not meant to be... We continue to have 'growing pains' with the new owners, losing our October event at the last moment. BUT they changed their closing date to mid-December so we are able to add two Pool Parties.

And now we have lost our Spring Pool Parties. This is not a surprise as the new owners are doing upgrades; the pool & hot tub will be torn up thru mid-May.

Fall 2016 - Summer 2017

Our 2015 – 2016 season was certainly eventful! Our resort surprised us prior to our November party by informing us they were going to be sold and thus unavailable for that Pool Party. We tried to keep active by having a party in North Conway but it's a long way for most of us and unreasonably expensive. Then …. we discover that the sale did not go through and our April & May pool parties were a wonderful and well-attended surprise. We are looking for backups to our resort and continue with fingers crossed for this coming season!! 

Latest update is the motel sold but will continue to host us. They are still doing remodeling but verified that we're able to use the facility on May 7th. We will send out mailings shortly!

Fall 2014 - Summer 2015

Our 2013 - 2014 was great as usual! We continue to add members and attendance maintained levels. In particular our Spring Pool Parties were a VERY welcome relief from the endless Winter.

A fine representation of Solar Bares was had at this year's Eastern Naturist Gathering and the weather was the best in years. Indoor volleyball was non-stop and we got in enough warm sun for tennis, swimming, slip-n-slide and pudding toss. Dancing & Scrabble, along with many other activities and programs kept us going strong!!

We are finally producing our newsletter for members and continue looking at some t-shirts and sweaters with the MCSB logo.

There was a good representation of Solar Bares at this year's Eastern Naturist Gathering and the weather helped us all have a fine time with volleyball, tennis, swimming, pudding toss, dancing & Scrabble, along with many other activites and programs!!
